From the Land of Kansas” is our state’s agricultural trademark program, facilitated by the Kansas Department of Agriculture, that helps to brand, support and celebrate Kansas agricultural products and services from the farm all the way to the fork.

From the Land of Kansas” is made up of two groups – members and partners.
Members in the program are made up of agricultural companies of all different sizes that include (click on each category to download a membership application):
The member application must be sent into the From the Land of Kansas program coordinator, Becky Sullivan, at the following address:

Partners of the program include retailers and farmers markets. Retailers are asked to register with Becky Sullivan, From the Land of Kansas coordinator, via e-mail. Farmers' Markets will be allowed to register through the Central Registration of Kansas Farmers' Markets, pursuant to SB 120. By registering, From the Land of Kansas partners will receive authorization to use the trademark program logo in their promotional materials, as well as have their information featured on our website.
Consumers can make the conscious decision to purchase local and support our state’s economy by looking for the From the Land of Kansas seal on products and in select locations.
A directory of all of the From the Land of Kansas members and partners will be able to be found at www.fromthelandofkansas.com – which is due to launch early summer 2013.
