Kansas Ag Growth Summit

Every summer, the Kansas Department of Agriculture hosts the Kansas Governor's Summit on Agricultural Growth, as hundreds of leaders from across Kansas agriculture gather to talk about growing agriculture in Kansas.

The first Ag Growth Summit was held in 2016, and has been followed each year since. In 2017, a social hour was added to the event on the evening prior to the summit, and in 2018 an eggs & issues breakfast offered an opportunity to hear from statewide elected officials. The fourth annual Ag Growth Summit was held on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

The Summit is free and open to farmers, ranchers, agribusiness owners, policy makers, city/county representatives, leaders of agricultural organizations -- any and all who are committed to working toward the growth of Kansas agriculture.

The Kansas Ag Growth Summit is known for its excellent networking opportunities, as it brings together representatives from all sectors of agriculture from across the state. It's also known for interactive workshops and meaningful opportunities for engagement in actively working toward addressing the challenges in the agriculture industry in Kansas.
