YOU’RE INVITED: The Kansas Department of Agriculture is excited for you to join us for the sixth annual Kansas Governor’s Summit on Agricultural Growth on Thursday, August 26, 2021. This highly anticipated event will host the Kansas agriculture family as we work together to discuss growing agriculture in Kansas.
The 2021 Kansas Governor’s Summit on Agricultural Growth will embrace a “best of both worlds” hybrid approach, with the Summit main event hosted at a physical location with in person attendance highly encouraged, along with a series of virtual sector breakout sessions in the weeks leading up to the Summit main event, starting July 1 with the dairy sector.
Last year’s virtual Summit was able to reach Kansas farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses in a new way, especially for the individual sector breakout session discussions. We’re revisiting that experience this year by offering the sector breakout sessions via Zoom, with a strong emphasis on collaborative discussion. The individual meetings will vary based on the needs and interests of each sector. We will once again gather on August 26 at the Manhattan Conference Center connected to the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kansas for a day of meaningful discussion about the future of Kansas agriculture. Come to town early and join us for a social event the evening prior to the Summit, also located in the newly renovated Manhattan Conference Center.
Due to the generosity of our event sponsors, there is no cost to attend any of the meetings or events, but it is important that you register to get login information for the virtual sector breakout sessions and so we can provide adequate materials for all attendees and have accurate meal counts.

Ag Growth Summit: Thursday, Aug. 26, 9:00-2:30
