State Conservation Commission meeting

The State Conservation Commission and the Kansas Association of Conservation Districts will host a Supervisor Engagement Event in Salina on Wednesday, July 21, starting at 2:00 p.m. The SCC and the KACD will then hold a joint meeting on Thursday, July 22, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at Salina.

All conservation district supervisors and managers are encouraged to attend the Supervisor Engagement Event. The day will include a Supervisor Roundtable Discussion followed by a tour of crop plots at The Land Institute in Salina. There is no cost to attend, but registration is requested by emailing Kansas Department of Agriculture director of conservation Andy Lyon at Andrew.Lyon@ks.gov.

The joint meeting on July 22 is a regular meeting for both organizations. Members of the public who want to participate in the meeting can do so via the virtual meeting option.
