From the Land of Kansas launches social media campaign in time for State Fair

What does “From the Land of Kansas” mean to you?

Manhattan, Kan. – From the Land of Kansas, the state’s agricultural trademark program, will launch a new social media campaign “What does being From the Land of Kansas mean to you?” September 2-14, right in time for the Kansas State Fair.

Kansans, whether born and raised or new residents, are encouraged to finish the phrase “From the Land of Kansas means…” and share their answers in video, photo or post to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #FromtheLandofKS.

“The From the Land of Kansas trademark program seeks to celebrate Kansas, Kansas businesses and Kansas products,” Mayo said. “We are proud of our state and all the great things it has to offer. This campaign is a way for us to engage with Kansans who are equally proud of their state. Let’s celebrate the reasons why we love Kansas.”

Winning social media entries will be drawn at random for a variety of From the Land of Kansas prizes – including t-shirts and hand-crafted.
