The goal of the Kansas Department of Agriculture Farm to School program is to expand the prevalence of fresh, local foods in school cafeterias and bolster agriculture and nutrition education.
 
What is Farm to School?

2014 KDA Farm to School Sub-grants

Sub-grants are derived from the grant KDA received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the fall of 2013 to support efforts to connect school cafeterias with local farmers and ranchers through the Farm to School program. The purpose of the grant is to implement local food and agriculture education programs in school cafeterias.The following is a list of schools to receive the 2014 sub-grants:
