United States Department of Agriculture - Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (USDA APHIS) is responsible for the protection of plants and animals in the US. To find information regarding APHIS Veterinary Services emergency planning, click HERE. The Plant Protection and Quarantine division also has emergency and disease information HERE.

Prep4agthreats.org is a site developed by the MultiState Partnership for Agriculture Security to share preparedness information for rural families and businesses. The All-Hazards Preparedness for Rural Communities Guide is an excellent document that families and businesses can use to develop their personalized preparedness plan for their homes, farms, animals, and businesses.
