• GMD5 Revises Management Program. Big Bend Groundwater Management District No. 5‘s (GMD5) revised management program was approved by the Chief Engineer on January 2, 2019. A public hearing regarding the management program was held on February 21, 2019, and the GMD5 board adopted the revised management program on March 14, 2019. It can be found on GMD5’s website here.

Western Kansas Groundwater Management District No. 1

Established under the authority of the Kansas Groundwater Management District Act, there are five GMDs in Kansas.
