This class is designed to teach Kansans how to properly store and prepare food in order to reduce food safety risks. Attendees will learn about cooking and cooling foods, hand washing and hygiene.

This is a free service presented in cooperation with the K-State Research & Extension Office and the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Lodging Program.

Topics include food safety, protecting food in preparation, protecting food in serving and cleaning and sanitizing.
